“Ahh” So refreshing./ When I let go of all the stressing./ See I’m no longer a slave, to the sin engraved, on the grave where I came, and yet to rest in./ But I never thought It’d be this hard./ When I’m trapped in emotions that can sway my thoughts./ That can pave the way, as the only way,/ To make that decision and lead astray./ But what I earned by grace is a testimony./ To leave to this world, who’s death is lonely./ So, I remain by faith to stand in the will of His word that brings Him glory, cause./ What, what good am I?/ If, if I fall to pressure of the daily life, to the daily grins, to the daily test, and to the daily sin?/ Cause the sun goes, and the rain comes./ And the tears fall when a life’s done./ So how to react?/ A fall to depression or keeping steadfast and rooted in scripture./ Cause He remains faithful, even when I find myself being faithless./ Yeah, He remains faithful, even when I’m in the crucible screaming “God I can’t take this.”/ When the time is heavy, another day of shredding./ every bit of old me, until the time is ready./ For me to take the step, for me to take the leap./ For me to be the Christ figure for those in need./ I gotta humble myself and kill my pride./ Take every ounce of self pity from my life./ Give it over to the God who can heal the soul./ Now it is well with mine, and He can help with yours.

Everybody sees pain from dark nights/ that come crashing in from the waves of life, but/ flip the track back to the fall so you that where the pain starts at/ the pain starts at the fall/ where broken relationships left a scar/ sin effected all from/ man to earth, man to animals, man to man, and man to God/ and if sin resides in this world and it effects everything I see right now/ please someone come tell me/ how you expect me to live my best life now!/ if I don’t prosper does that mean that I don’t have faith?/ wait/ if I get sick right now (right now?) does that mean that I fell from His grace?/ this side of heaven aint a life of ease/ you’ll get shipped wrecked thinking you can fight the sea/ there’s only one thing true and its plain to see/ it’s only Christ Jesus that can anchor me/ and He remains to be/ my strength when I face the sea of tough times and adversity/ but if I stop living for Him/ ill rot living in sin/ and that could be the death of me but/ one day sin will be done with/ new heaven, new earth all perfect/ till then we live in worship/ to the one true king who’s worth it/ and that’s hope for the soul/ when I’m losing control/ taking blow after blow/ in a world full of woe/ I can cling to the hope set before me and say it is well with my soul!
