lyrics
Jacob Emmanuel -
I never knew a love like, a love like this here/ I ran from it for years until he opened up my heart and made it clear/ so listen hear/ ladies and gentlemen, life if but a vapor then it disappears/ one day your livin then the end is here/ we all knowing that the end is near/ it’s what you believe that determines if you clear/ it’s your eternity/ that’s concerning me/ that’s why we came to preach the word with urgency/ its and emergency/ cause many men go and try to reach em in their own way/ thinking if the good outweighs the bad then they okay/ they work hard not to sin day to day/ but when you sin, what are you relying in to take your sin away/ were born sinners/ from January to December/ it’s not your actions, it’s the heart that’s in ya/ our heart is frozen like the hardest winter/ and dead/ so how can new life enter apart from a Devine interventer?/ but don’t fret/ God so loved the world that He sent His own Son to pay sins debt/ He gave it all/ by bearing in His body all the worlds sin/ while the father poured His wrath on Him/ just like a water fall/ it leaves your boy in awe when I think of all that He did to redeem us from the fall/ He lived a perfect life that we could never live/ and when we try it’s like thinking a sedative can cure us from the life that we inherited/ what an embarrassment and a slap to God’s face/ to think that we could live apart from God’s grace/ so tell me, where can you go to get up out of God’s space?/ cause even if your runnin you can never flea God’s face/ we’re in desperate need of God’s grace.
Tony Montana -
Lord willing I can make this music thing my profession/ Instead of spending time to write a rhyme, I’m finding time in between another session./ To sit back, hear His word and take it all in./ Praying when my mind goes blank, His message falls in./ Cause where would I be? Out there on the streets committing violence./ The foolish men perish to the ignorance of guidance./ And I’m on His timing./ So please don’t give me credit for these words, it is truly Him that rhyming./ It’s truly Him that shining./ No word play, but if I’m searching for the right meaning, I’ma put it in the worst way!/ Cause it isn’t truth./ So if these words aren’t Him, It’ll never take root, in the../ Soul of an artist who appreciates the art of another MC who strictly does this from the heart but gives his glory back to God!/ Can you feel me.? - - (PAUSE) - - So is it too much to ask for all the times I done suffered./ To get me out of this place, I need time to recover./ Lost in the word cause He wrote it as a lover./ So I’m falling intimate with more things that I discover./ “uh”/ A deep passion to grow with my father./ So don’t take it personal if I don’t come around or bother./ “no more”/ It’s just for the time being./ I need to make sure that my verses are in line with His teachings./ So I, I get up on the grind./ I study all the time./ Cause if you read my mind, you wouldn’t really think it’s mine!/ See I’m the chief of sinners, I’m trying to perfect./ The Christian in me so it’s Him that I reflect./ Windex, He gone see right through me now./ And I don’t need steelo cause He is my style!./ “yeah”/ I’m trying to put in what I’m worth./ Till my last day on earth, I’m put in His work./ “like, yeah”/ I’ma put in His work like..,/ “yeah, yeah uh.”/ So on my last day on earth, I’ma put in His work like../
